Something to get the spirits up

A spirited loss yesterday in Ottawa. Back and forth, lots of action (and penalties) as well as emotion out the wazoo. Despite Evgeni Malkin's three point night, the Pens didn't have enough to win; hey it'd be hard to picture Ottawa winning if they didn't have, say Daniel Alfredsson, Dany Heatley, Anton Volchenkov and Andrej Mezawhatever in the lineup.


Anyways, a quick turnaround for a home game today against Atlanta Thrashers and some old friend....Recchi, Hedberg, Thorburn, Christensen, Armstrong, heck they've even got themselves a Kwiatkowski.


Here's something we found that brought a chuckle...And in case Tyler Kennedy needs to get a part-time job in the offseason, there might be a natural position for him..
