Ah, the rise and fall of Vesa Toskala. Last year the Sharks needed to move a goalie (like a couple years before... man, they've developed goalies. RIP Warren Strelow), and they picked Toskala, who was arguably better than Nabokov that season. Odd move, it seemed.
Now look. Lucky? Shrewd? Or is Toskala just a victim of Leafdom? All of the above?
Meanwhile, Nabokov just keeps on smirking up the wins.
